  • Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poorly made This is a terrible product. It started rusting a few months after purchasing and now the screws are nearly completely rusted. The rust has also stained the glass. Would not recommend and will never buy a product from this company again. March 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Slide that hold the globe in place is stuck. We purchased and had this fixture professionally installed in 2014. Several months ago one of the originally installed light bulbs burned out. When I went to remove the glass globe, I could not get the release slide to move AT ALL! I tried using WD-40 as well as PB Breaker to loosen the spring loaded clip and only succeeded in filling the globe up with a greasy, nasty mass that - because I couldn't remove the globe to clean - had to stay in there for the time being. The brushed nickle decorative ring around the light assembly was also starting to rust pretty badly. I called Broan tech support to find out what a replacement globe was going to cost me as the only fix I could see was to smash the globe and try to loosen the spring clip without the glass in the way. I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled when Broan offered to send me an entire light assembly at NO COST! Even though I am less than thrilled with the design of this particular model, I am extremely happy with their customer service and for that reason alone I will purchase Broan products again in the future! Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful functionality! Well done! I love this bathroom fan/light. It is not the typical plastic that is stuck to the ceiling. It's beautiful yet serves a function and functions well. I LOVE my new fan and highly recommend this product. Well done!!! June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is good looking, and has good light The wife and I just purchased this bathroom fan/light, and installed it. So really haven't used it very long. But it is a good looking unit, seems plenty powerful enough and has good lighting compared to others we looked at. Installation went well, and so far we are really pleased with this purchase. Rated 1 out of 5 by Ran for only 2 years Had the Broan 766BN professionally installed in the hall bath in our new house 2 years ago. Today the fan makes horrible noises when it is started, and the motor stops after a minute or so. Pulled it to take a look, the bearings in the motor are out. I would expect that Broan wouldn't produce a fan that was so cheap that it won't make it to it's third year. February 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Has a very nice look. We love the look and how well the fan works, very stylish. February 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great deal This fab works great and looks good. Very easy to install. Good price for perfoance. February 6, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by vibration noise unacceptable Professionally had unit installed. First, not even near as quiet as demo unit in store. Second, exhaust performance is poor. It is installed in a 40 sq ft bathroom. Third, the spring clips holding the globe in place are nearly impossible to safely release to access under for bulb replacement. Lastly, the vibration will drive you insane. Once you think you have figured a solution a new vibration surfaces. I recommend non metallic components to aid in reducing metallic surface contact points. I will definately be replacing unit October 30, 2014

Thank you for your question on the model 754RB exhaust fan/light. All of our units are designed to have separate switches for independent operation of the different functions.

    Fan Not Working

The light works but the fan does not. We have a feeling we missed a wire when we connected the unit. How do I access the wires? This fan installed and wired up before drywall was installed. We now have new drywall installed. Don't want to cut it up.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 754RB exhaust fan/light. You can access the wiring from the inside of the unit housing. You would first remove the glass shade and grille pan. You would then need to remove the blower assembly from inside the housing to access the wiring panel. The installation instructions are available for download from our web site and there is a parts explosion to show how the unit is put together. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

I understand it is 80CFM but not sure if the fan opening would be as effective being not as large around the fixture

Is this an issue or is 80 CFM the same on all models?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 778WH exhaust fan/light. The 778WH should be just as effective as any other 80 CFM exhaust fan or exhaust fan/light.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on exhaust fans. If you are installing an exhaust fan in place of an existing ceiling light fixture, you would remove the existing junction box from the ceiling when you install the exhaust fan unit housing in the ceiling. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.
