  • BP28 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Other Fans Too After some rather thorough investigation, this product was purchased for installation in a NuTone 741 WHNT. Though the fan is not listed, this kit replaces the 70 CFM fan with a like fan, and replaces the fan wheel with the identical part. For the mechanically inclined, this is a fast and easy fix, at a fraction of the cost and time to install a replacement unit.

  • What is the Broan/Nutone part number for the wheel that's in the BP28 Motor/Wheel assembly?

    Asked by: moose1951
99110446 is the part number. Some fans may specify that part number with a suffix, but the number stamped on the part should be this number.

DOES THIS MOTOR FIT MODEL 679-A/679F-A?

WANT TO REPLACE THE MOTOR ON A BATH FAN. THE MODEL NUMBER IS NOT JUST ONE NUMBER SO NOT SURE IF THIS WILL WORK.
    Asked by: SHANE
You will need to know the specs on the parts you are replacing. This did work for a 741 WHNT, so it may work for others that are not listed.

Where can I buy the BP28 70 cfm motor/wheel? I live in New Mexico

Our fan wheel for our 70 cfm bathroom fan had a meltdown. The motor is OK, if not a little noisy, so I wanted to just replace the wheel (number stamped on wheel is 82403000). I did not see any wheels in the catalog, but the motor/wheel would be acceptable. The online catalog would not allow me to buy it and the only one we found at the hardware store (Lowes) is too tall to spin freely. Can I order the BP28 online or purchase it somewhere in New Mexico?
    Asked by: Bill
I don't trust Lowes for parts like this anymore. I went to get a replacement motor for my Broan/Nutone C350B fan and they sold me an "exact replacement" for it. The motor was the complete opposite of what I needed and couldn't be mounted unless I wanted to rebuild it. It was the only one they stocked as well. I found the exact replacement AND chassis for it on a major online company for a few dollars more than just the motor alone at Lowes.

can BP28 be used as replacement for broan 688K?

    Asked by: AM
Thank you for your question on the model 688K exhaust fan. The BP28 is a motor and blower wheel multipack and it is not designed to be used with the 688K. The part number for the motor and blower wheel for the 688K is 97012041 and can be purchased through the “Shop for Parts” link at the top of our web site page.
