    Alternatives to DV77 switch

My current installation has a 3 gang box, one for general lighting, one for heat lamp, one for fan. I want to upgrade, replacing the heat lamp and fan with QTX110HL, but I don't want to remodel the wall where the 3 gang box is! So what 2 switches could I use to get the 4 function equivalent?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTX110HL exhaust fan/heater/light/night light. We have a switch model 68W/V that is a two function switch. You could use two of them instead of the single DV77.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTX110HL exhaust fan/heater/light/night light. As long as you are using a humidistat with a simple on/off switch, there should be no problem with using it on the exhaust fan side of the QTX110HL. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTX110HL exhaust fan/heater/light/night light. Since the heater fan does not exhaust outside, the fan is not rated for CFM.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 77DW and P77DW, four function wall controls. The 77DW and the P77DW are the same switch. The “P” version is packed in a plastic display package and the non “P” version is not.

How to wire using 2 existing 3 wires from switch to unit

I am replacing an existing bath fan that has two separate switches for light and fan, but the wire from the switch to the overhead is three wire - can this be used without running a four wire?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTX110HFLT exhaust fan/heater/light/night light. To have individual control of all functions of the QTX110HFLT you would need a minimum of one ground wire, one white neutral wire and four hot power wires going from four switches up to the unit. You can eliminate one switch and one power wire by capping off the yellow night light wire and not using the night light. You could also eliminate a switch and hot wire by wiring the exhaust fan and light together (blue and red wires) on one switch. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
