    Thank you for your question.
    Many of our range hoods are sold with internal or external blower options. The blower that you reference is 1200 CFM, which means that it moves 1200 cubic feet of air per minute. This is actually quite a lot and you are most likely hearing this large amount of air movement. With the actual motor being on the outside, you are not hearing the motor noise. Unless there is a problem with under sized ducting, etc., what you are hearing, is probably normal.
