I currently have this in white and I need to replace it with a stainless steel hood, but I can't find one that is for a 5" duct. Any suggestions?
Thank you for your question on range hoods. At this time we do not offer a stainless steel range hood that uses five inch duct work.

Why no other colors, like black or stainless?
Thank you for your question on the model 523001 range hood. The Broan 52000 series in a 30" width is available in white, biscuit, and almond only. These are the only color options for the 30" model at this time.

Can the fan be removed for cleaning? If so how do I remove the fan blade?
Thank you for your question on the model 523008 range hood. There are two screws that hold the motor assembly in the housing. You can remove those screws to get the assembly out, but I would suggest that you do not remove the fan blade from the motor shaft. It is force fit onto the shaft and repeated removing and reinstalling will cause the blade to become loose and need to be replaced. Please contact technical support with further questions at 1-800-637-1453.
