Looks great and works well
This product is easy to install, the "fins" are easy to clean. I like that the corners are rounded so that you can't hurt your head. The variable volume allows me to adjust when I want need a low vent or quieter. The lights are nice and bright - although a little hard to put in. It would be great to have LEDs. It looks great in my kitchen and really works perfectly for us. The price is reasonable.

Hey, I know this is an outdoor hood but is it okay for inside use as well?
Thank you for your question on the model EPD6136SS range hood. Although this range hood is designed to be used outside on a covered porch, there should be no problem using it indoors.

What is the acceptable duct diameter to maintain flow rates?
This hood has a 10" outlet but due to constraints with placement over an outdoor grill, we must couple it to an 8" duct as it travels through the roof. Will this be able to maintain adequate flow rates?
Thank you for your question on the model EPD6136SS range hood. The EPD6136SS range hood requires ducting with 10” duct only. We would not suggest using any smaller duct work. Smaller duct work can reduce the CFM, make the unit louder, make the motor work harder than it should and could void the warranty.

Can the size of the flue cover be customized to fit over the entire top of the vent 15" x 36"?
Thank you for your question on the model EPD6136SS range hood. The flue cover measures 25 inches wide and either 13 or 16 inches deep only. There is no option to make the flue cover the same size as the top of the hood.

What is the maximum distance suggested for above a BBQ grill
The installation guide shows a minimum of 36 inches but does not provide a maximum distance for above the grill.
Thank you for your question on the model EPD6136SS range hood. There isn't a maximum distance rating for this hood, but we wouldn't recommend going much higher. The higher the hood is mounted, the less capture you will have and the less accessible the controls will be.
