  • dimensions of this filter

Should these filters cover the entire frame, the one I purchased from the appliance store is not wide enough and no where near long enough to cover the grill that fits into place in the unit

Thank you for your question on the BPPF30 (part number 99010353) non-ducted filter for the QP series 30" range hoods. This filter is supposed to be smaller than the aluminum filters that came with the hood. They get clipped to the aluminum filters. The clips will come with the purchase of the non-ducted filters.

Does the Evolution QP Series of Range Hoold, 30", require both aluminum and charcoal filters?

    Asked by: CountryGril
Thank you for your question on the QP series range hood and its filters. The aluminum filters are used when the hood is ducted to the outside. The non-ducted filters are used with the aluminum filters when the hood is not ducted to the outside. What is the price for this BPPF30 range hood filter? ( I assume they come in a 2pk which is required for the QP3 series).

    Installation of BPPF30

Since these filters are thinner and have no slot catch mechanism like the than the standard silver filters that come with the unit, I can only assume that they are to be installed in conjunction with the standard filter and not in replacement of the standard filter? Also, since they have no catch mechanism, I would also assume that they have to be installed on the top side of the standard filter (out of sight)? Finally, if my assumptions are correct, which side of the charcoal filters faces upward, or doesn't it matter? It would be helpful if a small piece of instructions with these three questions addressed would be supplied with the filters to take out the guessing. Thanks for your reply! I love the quality of my new Broan QP230SS hood and just need some advice on the installation of these charcoal filters. Thanks
