Rated 5 out of 5 by This fan works very well Just installed and it woks great. The light is bright and the fan is super quiet. You can not hear the fan run.I actually went back up in the attic to make sure it was running. The instructions for the install had me a little confused but I had an electrican doing other wiring on the remodel and he had no trouble with it.It took him about 20 minutes to install' October 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Exhaust Fan! I installed this fan four years ago. The humidity switch made it a snap to install (did not have to install a new switch for the unit) and it turns on by itself after the shower has run for about a minute and runs until the humidity is removed from the bathroom, then turns itself off. I don't have to bother with it or leave the bathroom light on. When I redo our other bathroom I will buy another Broan fan with a humidity switch. I love it! March 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by The product is lowder than normal It's not worth the money, You can find one cheaper do the same as this. March 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product works for me I purchase your fan after I read a article on basemant ventilation. Because of it's quiet operation and it's air removal,I install the unit in the wall venting outside.Works excellent and save me quite a bit of money February 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost perfect Fan/Light COmbo This light and fan combo is great except for some slight issues. Because of the unusual duct size, I had to buy a reducer to use standard 3 inch duct. Also, was not the easiest to install in an already finished room. It would have been a lot easier to install w/o a ceiling already being in place. Have been using this fan for 3 months now and have not had any issues. February 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by low noise, good exhaust and with light for bathroom I bought this product for its low nosie and energy efficiency It has dual lightsm but we use only one The only drawback appears to be is to adjust for change of light intensity from low to high reflecting the feature common to energy saving bulbs. Otherwise it appears to be an excelent purchase February 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This fan moves plenty of air quietly. I'm an engineer so I evaluate products on the technical level. This fan easily beats all construction grade fans in design and assembly. Aesthetics design is simple so it blends well and does not try to make a statement. Everything I wanted from a bathroom fan. February 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This fan is an exellent buy The fan is so quiet compared to what was in the bathroom originally that we can hardly tell when it is on. February 20, 2013

Thank you for your question on the model QTXE110FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. You can either use a three function wall switch or three separate switches, whichever is easiest for you.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the QTXE080FLT ventilation fan and light. If you need to maintain a fire rating you will need to add the radiation damper model number RDFQL. This would be a separate accessory and is not included with the purchase of the ventilation fan.

How do you install in existing finished ceiling?

Bath currently has a light and we want to replace with this fan/light combo. Your install manual shows for new installation without a finished ceiling installed. What do yu do if you already have a finished ceiling and want to retrofit this fan/light into the existing area?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTXE110FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. If you have access from an attic or crawl space above, the replacement should not be difficult. If this is between floors, you would need to tear out more ceiling than would normally be necessary and patch the ceiling after the installation. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTXE150FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. There are two tabs that lock the lens into the grille. You can place a small flat blade screwdriver alongside the lens, between the lens and the grille and gently pry the lens out of the grille.
