We don't really need the night light and I'm replacing an existing recessed light with the fan, so I have only one switch already wired. I like all the other features of this light but don't want to have to rewire.

This can be done. Call technical service regarding your switch and they will tell you how to wire it for this application.

Answer:
Thank you for your question on exhaust fan/lights. To connect a fan/light to a single switch, you would wire all of the white wires from the ceiling unit to the house white neutral wire. Next connect the bare ground wire from the house to the ground screw or green wire from the ceiling unit. Last, you would connect the fan and light power wires (normally black and blue) to the power wire from the wall switch (normally black).
