  • QTXE110FLT is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quality unit Just completed a major bathroom remodel and chose the QTXE110FLT to replace old Broan fan. This fan offers a bright 36W fluorescent light, 4W nightlight, and super quiet exhaust fan. I ordered a Broan 66V 3 function switch to connect the combo fan unit to so we can control its 3 functions separately. Highly recommend this product and all Broan products..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bath Fan Love this product. Quiet, bright, and a cool nightlight feature. Never thought I'd use it. Well I was mistaken. Would strongly recommend. I considered a P******* Whisper. Glad I gave Broan a chance. Way better then the contractor grade Nu-Tone that this is replacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fan works very well Just installed and it woks great. The light is bright and the fan is super quiet. You can not hear the fan run.I actually went back up in the attic to make sure it was running. The instructions for the install had me a little confused but I had an electrican doing other wiring on the remodel and he had no trouble with it.It took him about 20 minutes to install'

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Exhaust Fan! I installed this fan four years ago. The humidity switch made it a snap to install (did not have to install a new switch for the unit) and it turns on by itself after the shower has run for about a minute and runs until the humidity is removed from the bathroom, then turns itself off. I don't have to bother with it or leave the bathroom light on. When I redo our other bathroom I will buy another Broan fan with a humidity switch. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase Fan is good and very quiet (if it were more quiet I would not be able to hear it when it's on.) The way the grille with the light is mounted with flexible grille springs is a poor design. The grille is weakly held against the ceiling and tends not to give a solid flush connection against the ceiling. Other than that, no issues. It removes the moisture from the bathroom properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fan moves plenty of air quietly. I'm an engineer so I evaluate products on the technical level. This fan easily beats all construction grade fans in design and assembly. Aesthetics design is simple so it blends well and does not try to make a statement. Everything I wanted from a bathroom fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fan is an exellent buy The fan is so quiet compared to what was in the bathroom originally that we can hardly tell when it is on.

  • how to wire fan and light to a singale switch

    Asked by: jeremiah
In document 99045492A the schematic indicates there are 2 black wires and one red wire to connect to the black line in wire. The fan has a black, a red ,and a blue wire. From the answer above it would seem that for several years they have been aware that the schematic colors do not agree with fan colors. The comment above clarifies it nicely. Blue and black wire to your line in black wire. Both fan and light will come on together.

How do you install in existing finished ceiling?

Bath currently has a light and we want to replace with this fan/light combo. Your install manual shows for new installation without a finished ceiling installed. What do yu do if you already have a finished ceiling and want to retrofit this fan/light into the existing area?
    Asked by: HomeHandyman
Thank you for your question on the model QTXE110FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. If you have access from an attic or crawl space above, the replacement should not be difficult. If this is between floors, you would need to tear out more ceiling than would normally be necessary and patch the ceiling after the installation. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

Do I have to have a 3-function wall control, or can I just use 3 separate switches to independently control the fan, light, and night light?

    Asked by: homeowner-nc
Thank you for your question on the model QTXE110FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. You can either use a three function wall switch or three separate switches, whichever is easiest for you.

Where can the light bulbs be purchased. Both the bulbs need to be replaced and I can't find them.

    Asked by: Margie
Thank you for your question on the Broan QTXE110FLT. The two light bulbs in your Broan unit are 18 Watt, GU24 base. The Broan service part number is 99271381 and can be purchased directly by calling Customer Service at 800-558-1711 or by ordering on our website under the shop for parts link. This light bulb can also probably be purchased through your local retailers.
