    Thank you for your question on the model 688 exhaust fan and 678 exhaust fan/light. You can upgrade from a 688 to a 678 but you would need to completely remove the 688 from the ceiling to replace it with the 678. You would also need to enlarge the hole in the ceiling and replace the three inch duct work with four inch. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Thank you for your question on the model 688 exhaust system. You cannot use the C350BN in the 688H. The fan assembly for the 688H is part number 97012026 and you can get it through the “Shop for Parts” link at the top of our web site page or by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-558-1711.

    Thank you for your question on the model 688 exhaust fan. Using three inch rigid duct work, the 688 can handle up to 13 feet of straight duct work. You would need to reduce that distance by three feet for every elbow installed.
