  • E60E36SS is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, great fan. I use this hood with the external 900cfm on nearly every custom home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very, very loud Way too loud and doesn't always work. Smoke detector goes off all the time.
    Date published: 2016-04-26
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Attractive design. Low Quality I like the look of the hood. Unfortunately the quality is not what is should be. The fan speed control arrive not working and the sheet metal is thin enough that I had to add extra bracing so the hood would not flex when used.

  • Can I use Klean logik oven hood degreaser on this E60E36SS Hood?

Recently saw this degreaser in the Make Life Easier catalogue. Claims it melts grease. I do much cooking and it is difficult to cut through grease. I will buy this degreaser if you say it is safe for my hood. If not, what do you recommend? Have washed with mild soap and rinsed but it is not enough to get rid of grease. Thank you. I did put baffles in dishwasher. Good idea so far.
    Asked by: Sophia
Thank you for your question on the model E60E36SS range hood. For cleaning, we recommend to “Regularly wash with clean cloth or rag soaked with warm water and mild soap or liquid dish detergent.” Do not “Use any harsh or abrasive cleansers.” Any cleaners that contain bleach will attack stainless steel. Any products containing: chloride, fluoride, iodide, bromide will deteriorate surfaces rapidly. Any combustible products used for cleaning such as acetone, alcohol, ether, benzol, etc., are highly explosive and should never be used close to a range. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

How high is the rear vent?

I want to add this shell to my 332H external blower. Blower currently mounted in 10" dia, horizontal vent. The center of my 10" horizontal vent is 85" from the floor. How high will the shell be from the cook surface if I mount it high enough to be centered over the vent opening? More simply, where is a schematic of the rear of the shell showing dimensions and locations of the rear knockout for venting?
