  • Roof matching domes means ventilation is less noticeable.

Too often, attic ventilation is overlooked, not to mention ignored as a place for energy savings. That's where BROAN solutions make sense. Consider this: air trapped in your attic can easily reach 150 degrees or more. With BROAN ventilation solutions, it's still a full 60 degrees cooler in the attic on a 90 degree day. That's why attic ventilation is critical to making any home more comfortable while lowering energy costs. Air conditioners can run less and won't have to work as hard. Humid, stagnant air can be removed, drawing fresh dry air across the surfaces. Your attic can be drier and cooler - the perfect tools to help fight potential moisture damage.

Each PVC dome is available in three popular performance ratings along with two metal dome models. Select one that best suits the attic size and shingle color.

    • Attic Size: Up to 2285 sq. ft.

  • Effective attic ventilation requires air to exit at or near the peak of the roof and replacement air to be drawn in under the eaves of the house, via soffit venting. The Home Ventilating Institute (HVI) recommends that powered attic ventilators provide at least 10 air changes per hour to equalize attic temperature.

Are 3D models available to the public for this Attic fan?

I am trying to design a scale model of a secondary garage for a customer and would like the "true" model of this exhaust fan since I am choosing it for his build. Does a 3D model exist for this version? I downloaded the model catalog available on the website and could not find this attic fan as one of the options in there.

Thank you for your question on the model 353 gable mounted attic ventilator. The 353 is designed to be mounted in a vertical position so it blows horizontally out a gable only.

I just installed this Gable fan in my garage and it keeps tripping my breaker. This is rated for 3.4 amps and there is only 1 light on the same line which is an LED light.

The fan was running for several hours before it tripped the breaker. Now it trips the breaker the second it starts.

I'm wondering if it could be a bad motor causing it to pull to much and tripping the breaker.

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Answer:
After doing a little more research and testing it turns out the fan was pulling too much current and causing the breaker to trip. Once replaced the item works great.
