  • The QS1 Series Range Hoods are the quietest in their category and deliver the brilliance of halogen lighting to your cook top. Their quiet nature is due to the fan’s unique axial blade technology. You’ll be able to carry on a conversation while cooking without asking your family to repeat themselves.

    • Brushed stainless steel construction is durable, easy to clean and a perfect match to your other stainless appliances
    • High-contrast, black controls stand out for ease of use
    • 42” width to fit with like-size cook tops and cabinetry. Proper sizing provides effective ventilation
    • Rated at 1.5 sones on Normal speed, the QS1 is over 50% quieter than the typical range hood in its class. The 220 CFM fan provides effective ventilation and you won’t have to turn up the volume to hear your favorite song while cooking
    • Two-speed rocker control gives you convenient command of Normal and High fan speeds. Use the quiet, Normal, setting for average cooking conditions and switch to High to quickly remove unwanted cooking aromas
    • Twin 50 W halogen light system (PAR20 bulbs not included) can be adjusted to two levels with the front rocker control. They provide bright or ambient illumination for impressive lighting over the cook top and surrounding area. Enjoy the clear advantage of seeing what you are cooking
    • Two dishwasher-safe, aluminum grease filters are engineered to remove airborne particles efficiently and clean up easily to keep your range hood operating at peak efficiency (For non-duct option use charcoal filter, Model BPSF30, sold separately)
    • Clean SenseTM charcoal filters (BPSF30, sold separately) have an indicator that changes color when replacement is necessary for an easy maintenance reminder (non-ducted installation only)
    • Easy installation with keyhole mounting slots, connector/backdraft dampers and four ducting options provide simple flexibility

      • 3 1/4” x 10” horizontal discharge
      • 7” round, vertical discharge
      • Non-ducted recirculation requires two Clean SenseTM charcoal filters, BPSF30, sold separately

    Rated 1 out of 5 bad fan the product came with our new custom built home. we moved in 1/6/13 and the first time I used the hood the low setting bare moved you could hear and see it trying but when you switched to high setting it sounds like a bi-plane engine coming in for landing. this is the second broan product with a fan which I have had problems. I purchased 2 bath heater/fans because it was so quiet in the store. an electrician installed them and I told him something was wrong it was too loud. he removed it and reinstalled but still loud. I took them back and got a diff product. Now I have another broan fan issue on my range hood that I have to have repaired or replaced under warranty, thankfully. June 13, 2013

I can't think of a thing that I don't like about it. It is so easy to wipe clean. Compared to my old under the cabinet hood, It is such a pleasure to use.
