I'd like to use this fan/light to replace an existing fan, but it looks like the existing fan is using a 3" flexible duct in the attic. Can the 766RB be used with the existing duct and a 4" to 3" adapter? Thanks.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 766RB exhaust fan/light. The 766RB requires 4”, preferably rigid duct work. It cannot be used with 3” duct work at all.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the Broan model 761BN. The model 713 is not a valid Broan model number. If you are removing a fan that is already in the ceiling, the best way is to do so from the attic. The housing will be attached to the ceiling joists with screws or nails. If you do not have attic access, you will need to enlarge the hole in the ceiling to be able to work around the current housing so you can remove it from the ceiling. This may require patching the ceiling drywall when finished. For further questions, please contact technical support at 1-800-637-1453.

    Answer:
I'm sorry that you are having difficuly finding the correct bulbs. Another way to locate this bulb, is to use the term B-10.
You may want to check with a lighting showroom or internet company who deals exclusively with light bulbs, in finding this "candelabra", B-10 bulb.

    Answer:
Yes, the 778WH can be installed on only one switch. This is accomplished by connecting both the blue and black wires on the 778WH to the hot switch lead. Both fan and light will come on at the same time. If you require assistance, please contact our Technical Support line at 800-637-1453.
