Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Switch Excellent switch - but what is even better is customer service......I was mailed a defective switch. When I called them they immediately shipped out another one - and told me to keep the old one, because it wasn't cost effective to return ship. Very good customer service and very smart business decision on their part - great job and thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awkward wiring diagram, WELL WORTH IT! Comparing the wiring diagram to the actual switch took a few leaps of faith for this non-electrician, but after a few tries (without any switch failures) it works great. All from one switch, the light can be turned on/off, the nightlight on/off, and the fan to on/off/auto. Auto automatically causes the adjustable humdity sensor to turn the fan on when the humidity rises, and off again a few (adjustable) minutes after it falls back to normal. The "On" setttnig is useful to run the fan when it's not humidity, but odor which needs quick clearing. If you have only a light and fan now, you'll need to pull an extra wire for the nightlight -- unless you just leave it unused (we seldom use ours).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy I used to have a switch that was a timer. I hated it because I needed to turn it on every 5 minutes that I spent in the bathroom. What a replacement!! This product is the best buy I had done so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient! I love the new switch because it takes up so little space compared to the old 3 switch we had before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would have liked this to come in a lighter color to match my switch plates but this worked out fine after all. Received the product quickly. I would recommend buying from Venting Direct as I will in the future.

  • Can you turn on the night light separately? Can you turn on the main light separately - somewhere I read that if you use the light, the fan comes

on , too. The switch is not marked, how do you know which is which function??
    Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question on the 77DV four function wall switch. All of our exhaust fan combinations are designed for independent operation of each function. The bottom switch of the 77DV is a three position switch. All the way in one direction would be used for the night light and all the way in the other direction is for the main light. The switch is not labeled so the consumer has the option of how they want the switches arranged. There are labels available under part number S990712044 and you can get those through our Customer Service Department at 800-558-1711. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    fan sensor?

How does the "auto" position operate the fan? is it like a 5 minute timer?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question on the exhaust fan switches. The switch used for the auto position is normally used to power the automatic humidity sensor in some exhaust fans.
