Will the blower damage the siding?
Will the blown-out greasy smoke pollute the siding of the house? How to prevent this issue?
Thank you for your question on the model 332H exterior exhaust fan. It is possible that you would have some sort of grease and dirt buildup on the siding of the house. The range hood would normally capture most of the grease from cooking, but there would be some that would make it through the exhaust system. There is no way to prevent this and depending on the amount of greasy cooking that is done, you would probably only need to clean the siding once or twice a year. 332H vs 335
For a 36in gas cooktop, what's the recommendation, 335 or 332H? One thing I noticed is that, although 335 is 1200 CFM vs 900CFM for 332H, 335's rated amps is 3.0, which is lower than 332H (rated amps 5.8). Why 332H has higher rated amps? What does "H" mean, for 332H?
Thank you for your question on the model 332H and 335 exterior mounted exhaust fans. When sizing a fan for a kitchen you need to know the BTU rating of the range. You need a minimum of 1 CFM for every 100 BTU. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
