Rated 5 out of 5 by Jl2408 Will buy another
Bought this while remodeling my master bathroom and was worth every penny!! Very quite and does a great job moving air. I take very hot showers and you can't even tell with this fan. Will be getting another one for my other bathroom. Only problem was with the flapper that keeps from having back flow but one call and a replacement part was on its way!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by unhappycamper Not sure how this is an Energy Star product
The fan works great but the back draft damper is terrible to say the least. During the summer my bathroom becomes hot and during the winter it becomes cold. This is all due to the damper not blocking the outside air from coming into the house. We don't continuously run the fan because honestly it makes no sense to. If the fan is not running the outside air comes in period.

OUR MASTER BATH IS 18'X8' AND THIS FAN HANDLES THE VENTILATION WONDERFULLY. SUPER QUIET AND EXTREMELY EASY TO INSTALL. I DO NOT HAVE THE FIRST REGRET I MADE THIS DECISION. MONEY WELL SPENT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beanball16 great fan
Very easy to install. Great help from a Braon Rep. (via phone) to make this even quieter & mor efficient. Hardly hear it run. This fan has cleared up an on-going moisture problem in the bathroom at shower time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kevin123 Relatively Quiet and Moves more air than the builder grade
I don't know that I would agree that this fan is very quiet. But it is quieter and moves more air than the builder grade fan that we got with the house. Part of the problem with the noise from the fan might be due to the vaulted ceiling in the bathroom, Since it doesn't sit level it seems it rocks a little bit that may cause the extra noise.
I definitely recommend using a timer switch for any bathroom fan. It's nice to be able to set it to 10 minutes on the way out so it will continue to suck the moisture out after you've left the bathroom but will automatically shut off.
