    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 757SN exhaust fan/light. You can use the 757SN with a single switch and have the light and fan both come on at the same time. Connect the house bare ground wire to the 757 grounding screw. Wire both of the white wires from the 757 to the house white neutral wire. Connect the black and blue wires from the 757 to the hot power wire coming from your wall switch.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 761BN exhaust fan/light. The spring loaded hooks will give a good amount of resistance since they are designed to hold the lens in place, but they should not be too difficult to use. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 766RB fan. The 766RB comes with an ivory alabaster shade. Yes, you can use the glass shade from the model 766BN. This glass shade would be white alabaster. The part number is 99527172 and can be ordered under the Shop for Parts link on our website or by contacting Broan Customer Service at 800-558-1711.

Why would my fan suddenly, after only about 6 months of use, start being noisy?

This fan-light was installed by a professional electrician and worked great for 6 months (it does not get lots of usage as it is one of two powder rooms), but now it has become a loud, kind of vibrating, noisy fan. Once, after this noise had begun happening, we turned on the fan and it was quiet again, but ever since it has stayed noisy. Any suggestions?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 764BN exhaust fan/light. When we see this sort of problem it is usually because the duct work used on the fan is vinyl flexible duct work and it has started relaxing and closing in on itself. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for assistance.
