    Will it be safe with the heat from the oven and self cleaning if it is installed directly behind the oven on the wall?

    Thank you for your question on the model EP300223 back splash plate. This unit is designed to go on the wall, from the bottom of the range hood, to somewhat below the top of the range. There should be no problem with any heat that comes from the range or oven.
