Rated 5 out of 5 by Susanr this product does exactly what i wanted it to do.
We had it installed in a small, older shower stall that has limited ventilation and thus suffered from a military smell we couldn't get rid of. Because this system automatically runs whenever moisture is detected, we no longer have any problems with odor. I was afraid it would be noisy, but it is so quiet, I barely know when it's running. Highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KellyO59 little appliance with big results
Installed this unit in my bathroom. the home was built in 1928 and never had a venting system. I was always oil treating the wood cabinets to prevent damage to the finish from steam. this unit was small and versitile enough to allow me to customize it's installation into an existing lath and plaster ceiling. the exterior venting was time consuming, but does not reflect on this appliances installation.
installed quickly, attached pre-run 6" ridged vent system and electrical wiring, (to NEC requirments), installed LED bulb/s and done. I am so impressed with this little unit and how well it performs. It's CFM's exceed most exhaust systems by 2/3 of any systems now available at large home improvement stores. Nice appearence and easy adjustments / repair when needed. this unit is highly recommended and if properly located in the room, steam and oders will be only memories. Works extreamly well and the automatic features and over-rides make this a "smart-fan".
Great prices for it's value to me. Consider this item in your home improvement discovery phase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bloom Broan QTX110SL - fantastic
Perfect answer for a father with daughters.
Fan works exactly as advertised, and for half the price of their newer models.
Fan comes on automatically when shower is used. When you go outside you see the steam billowing out the roof cap, something the old 4" fan never did.
No more wet walls, steam on mirror, or yelling thru the door "Turn on the FAN".
Very quite too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gussie This product is very quiet which I love. Unfortunately I perchased the recommended unit for the bathroom in which it was installed.
I am sure if I had purchased the more powerful unit I would be entirely satisfied and would would give it 5 stars all the way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Soni Fan is quiet and efficient.
The fan was installed in my new house when I purchased it. The builder said he chose it because it is so quiet. My bathroom is very large - in order to allow for wheelchair users - and it does a good job of ventilating it. However, the switch which was supposed to have a sensor in it which would turn on the fan as needed seemed to have a mind of its own. The fan came on almost regularly at about 10 minute intervals all day and all night. Eventually I had an electrician come and replace the switch with a regular one and now I am quite satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WTP1 Awkward wiring instructions, WELL WORTH IT!
From a young boy until he left for college, our son frequently left their bathroom fan on from morning until I returned home at night to turn it off -- as if he wanted to heat the outdoors in winter and cool it in summer.
This fan is just the trick. In conjunction with any of the Braun x77Dx (many choices) switch, at one switch the light can be turned on/off, nightlight turned on/off, and the fan set on/off/auto. Auto causes the adjustable humidity sensor to automatically turn the fan on when humidity rises, and off a few (adjustable) minutes after getting back to normal. No more heating and cooling the outdoors!
The fan is acceptably quiet (much quieter than our old fan) and clears humidity from the bathroom very quickly.
To achieve that low-sone quietness requires 6" ductwork.
The Braun wiring diagram compared to the actual switch is a little unintuitive, but even a non-electrician like me got it working (after a couple tries) without too much difficulty. You will have to run an extra wire from the switch to the fan if you only have a light and fan now -- unless you simply skip using the nightlight (we seldom use it).
