Rated 5 out of 5 by gilpin Great fit and features
This performs as I had hoped. Nice design, great fan, light and accepts carbon filters. The remote has such limited range that I choose not to use it. Solid unit that fits my new kitchen design and wanted a unit that had a reputation of reliability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AshlandAlan This product has great engineering, materials, and performance.
This product has delivered the quality and performance we were led to expect by the salesperson at the appliance store. It features button controls for lighting and fan speed, and it is easy to clean the stainless steel filters. The noise level is low for the high CFM capacity this product delivers. We are pleased with this purchase decision for our gas cook top.

Rated 1 out of 5 by meew Not effective... poor design.
The blower is located off-center to the left, so anything that is cooked on the right side of your range is not captured. Even on the highest speed, cooking odors escaped into the house and not through the exhaust. Despite having to forfeit the installation costs, we ended up returning the unit.

We love this unit. Very quiet. Nightlight feature with photosensor comes in handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LongIslander An excellent range hood for home use
We just bought this for a remodeled kitchen. Our decision was based on the fact that, in the old kitchen, we had installed a similar model about three years ago. It performed as promised. The present one is more powerful, very quiet and with more options.
If you remove the filters for washing, make sure you put them back with the proper face looking down; else, you cannot remove the filter w/out destroying it and they are expensive. That is one item Broan engineers may wish to reconsider.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gale Great size, appearance, effective, but impossible for me to set clock and timed functions..
Love everything about this range hood except the programming/control buttons. By trial and error I have learned to adjust light level and fan level. In over a year I have not been able to set or use the clock. The problem is that the buttons are black on a black background. Labels are useless for the same reason, and not adequate. User documentation is woefully inadequate and needs to be written for someone totally new to the product. The range hood is over my head (good), provides light down on the cooking surface where I need it (good), but even with a step
stool and flashlight I cannot figure out how to set the clock!

Rated 4 out of 5 by SailingGirl35 like the smooth design
the touch buttons are a bit too small and sometimes difficult to touch and hold two to set a function. the appearance is sleek but again using the touch tabs/buttons isn't all that easy especially trying to turn off the night light or set the time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by d67thom Too Complicated
When the power is off for any reason, the hood automatically reverts to turning on when the kitchen lights are off in the evening. The directions on how to turn off this feature is very confusing. One incorrect push of a button means you have to restart the whole process again. The timer button and the button to re-set the clock are too much alike. Having to re-set due to daylight savings time is a challenge. One mistake and I have to wait 10 minutes to try again. I did not realize before I bought this one and had it installed that a range hood could be so complicated to operate and maintain.
