This range hood does a good job. Our only complaint is that the control panel can be confusing to use, in particular the light function. The light buttons have to pressed in different sequences in order to change the settings. The directions in the manual are also hard to decipher regarding this issue. A more user-friendly/simpler set of controls would have been nice, IMO. Otherwise it's a good quality range that sucks up most of the aromas.

Overall an excellent product, there is a learning curve for the lights and clock. Fan noise is good on low and medium, high is acceptable. If using high you need to crack a window to provide air.

I am using this product for ~ 7 months now. I am pleased with it, but had two minor issues which force me to not give a 5 star rating
1> It has a automatic light settings that keeps the light on for whole night, unless you forcefully turn it off. It has the clock, why not to set it to turn off after midnight?
2> One of the halogen light bulb went out within 3 months. The replacement can not be found outside. I am yet to try the Broan bulbs (that costs $40 for a singel halogen bulb???? on this website)

Just because a manufacturer can include all the features of a $5 watch, doesn't mean it should. Ours is a vacation home, which means it get used by many different friends & family. It's not possible to set and lock the features. Press the wrong button and it starts a timer that can't be stopped. Don't want the night light? Tough, I bet you can't figure out how to turn it off without getting out the manual everytime. Even just turning off the light or fan can stump most cooks (press & HOLD the on button)
Great, quite exhaust fan, but annoying to point of comical.

This unit is good for odor removal. Fan at low speed is quiet. The clock is quite useless since there are plenty of other clocks in the kitchen. However lots of issues with lights: night lights are impossible to turn off – we do not need the night lights (waste of energy too) and the power switch does not turn them off. After about 6 to 7 months of use, bulbs started burning off (not work), one at a time. We expected not to replace bulbs for at least one to two years. We are not sure if quality material went into manufacturing this product.
