  • Broan 750 wall switch suddenly stopped working. None of the 3 switches work breaker for bathroom power did not trip. How troubleshoot/fix?

Switches worked at night but not next morning. Fan and switch about 15 yrs old . Switch came when unit was installed
    Asked by: Papa
Thank you for your question on the model 750 exhaust fan/light/night light. Normally, if a switch goes out, it would only be one switch at a time. In the same manner, if anything inside the 750 goes out, it would be one function at a time. You should take a volt meter and make sure you have power coming into the switch. If you do, you would then check to see if you have voltage getting to the unit housing when the switch is turned on. If you need further assistance, please contact our Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453.

How do I remove the motor blower assembly?

    Asked by: Andy
Thank you for the question on the model 750 exhaust fan/light/night light. To remove the blower assembly you would first pull straight down on the grille assembly. It should come down from the ceiling a couple of inches. You would then reach around the grille and squeeze the butterfly springs together to completely remove the grille from the ceiling. Next remove the nut from the top of the reflector and remove it from the unit housing. You will see a single screw through the square motor mounting plate, next to the electrical sockets. Remove the screw and the blower assembly will come down from the housing.

    Venting for Broan 750

The current exhaust fan that I am replacing with the 750 is vented with 3" duct to an under eave vent. Can I reduce the 750 duct to fit the existing 3" duct? Replacing the existing 3" with 4" duct would be a huge project due to the home construction.
    Asked by: Dale
Thank you for your question on the model 750 ventilation fan with light. We could not recommend reducing the duct size to a 3" on this unit. It would reduce the performance, increase the sound, and can cause premature motor failure. Should you have further questions, please contact our Technical Support Department directly at 800-637-1453.

How do you change the light buldb?

I inherited this when I moved into house, the light bulb blew and I have no idea how to get in there to put new one in???
    Asked by: Jody
Thank you for your question on the model 750 exhaust fan/light/night light. The grille would pull straight down from the ceiling approximately two inches. You can then reach around the grille and squeeze the butterfly springs together to totally remove the grille from the ceiling. The installation instructions are available on our web site so you can see how the unit goes together.

Instructions do not show how to install the grill/lens assembly.

How do you install grill/lens assembly?
    Asked by: Thomas
Thank you for your question on the Broan 750. To install the grille you need to pinch the grille spring together and insert them into the small slits on the white circle. You can then push the grille tight to the ceiling. If you have any problems or question please call Technical support at 1-800-637-1453
