    blower assembly replacement

I have a GE BLF100RNL and need to replace blower motor. Wondering if the model I described is the same as a Broan 750. Did the unit I described be replaced by the Broan 750? If so is there a replacement assembly for the blower?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the RS800 unit. Unfortunately, the GE model RS800 is not affiliated with the Broan model 750 in any way. Parts would not be compatible or interchangeable. If you are looking to replace your current model with a Broan ventilation fan/light, please contact Technical Support at 800-637-1453. We would be happy to try to help you choose the unit that is right for your needs and application.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 750 exhaust fan/light/night light. If the fan is running but you have no airflow, either the back draft damper is stuck shut or you have an obstruction in the duct work. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Hello,
I have two switches both with black, white and ground coming to the 750 unit. Currently I have red/ black and white/white which has the fan operable. I then attached white/white and black/black but the light did not work. Please clarify wiring. The unit has two white leads, one red, one black, one yellow. I did not see a green for ground. Please advise on ground, and hook up for fan and light.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 750 exhaust fan/light/night light. The 750 will have a green ground lead that connects to the bare ground wire from the house. The 750 will have two white wires that go to the house white neutral wire. The 750 black wire goes to the hot power wire from the fan switch. The 750 red wire goes to the hot power wire from the light switch. Since you only have two switches, you should cap off the yellow wire (night light power wire). Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

Can I get a more powerful fan for the 751?

My customer's fan stopped working in their Broan 751 which is 10 years old. They recently had a roof leak (not near this fan) and the insulation in their attic was replaced so they would like to keep the housing.

Can we get a stronger fan and where would I go to get one?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 751 exhaust fan/light. The only parts that will work in the existing unit housing would be the original replacement parts. You can purchase repair parts through the “Shop for Parts” link at the top of our web site page. If you need a stronger fan you would need to completely remove the 751 from the ceiling and replace it with another model. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

Light and fan went out at same time.

The light and fan worked for one morning shower, both were turned off at the switches on the wall and then 20 minutes later when they were turned back on, nothing. The other bathroom light switches work and there is power to the switch at the wall. Is there an internal fuse or something else that would keep both (separate switches) the light and fan from working? Or is it shot? It's 7 years old

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 751 exhaust fan/light. Normally if the fan and light both go out at the same time, there would be a power supply issue (either the switch or a wiring issue). Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for assistance.
