  • ERVH100S is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works better than expected! I have had it a week and I like the fact that I am now breathing oxygen in my house. I have COPD and would wake up tired every morning wondering why I was so tired. Now I feel much better. It has made that much difference. I like the recirculation feature because when it is too hot, fresh air cannot come into the house so in Texas it primarily runs at night but recirculates the air through the HEPA filter, during the day. I have a few animals and this again has helped immensely.

  • Can we install an ERVH100SE with a spacepak high pressure system?

Our house has a hot water radiant heat system for winter along with a Spacepak high pressure a/c unit for summer. We have very low humidity (~25-30%) in the house in winter time. So wanted to see if we can install an ERVH100SE unit to add humidity in the winter and improve overall air quality considering our current hvac system?
    Asked by: Gregh
Thank you for your question on the Broan ERVH100SE. The ERVH100SE is not designed to add humidity in the winter months. Please contact our Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    exterior warmed cabinet installation

Can I install this outside in a vented cabinet where the inside of cabinet is warmed by the air from the exhaust port? Incoming air will be warmed by a ground tube. I am in New Hampshire with average winter temp at 33F and min temp about -10F.

The differences between the ERVH100SE and GSEH3K

Hi. I have another question. What are the differences between the ERVH100SE and GSEH3K? I saw the GSEH3K is ideal for homes up to 6000 square feet and it can deliver 270 Cfm Of fresh clean air into the house in the SPECIFICATION SHEET. However, its ventilation performance is similar to ERVH100SE at 50 pr 100 Pa of external static pressure. But the ERVH100SE only has 100 Cfm. I am confused with that.So can you explain it for me? Thank you!

HRV or ERV for Southern Ontario climate

Hello, We live in Southern Ontario, Canada, where winters are cold and summers are hot and humid. Our house has central AC for the summers and Forced Air heating for the winters. As well we have a humidifier attached to the Forced Air system for the winters. Which type of air exchanger should we chose HRV or ERV? Thank you.

does this unit require a drain?

    Asked by: travis
Thank you for your question on the model ERVH100SE energy recovery ventilator. For the ERV units, it is not required to install the drain tube, however it is recommended for climates where the outside temperature typically remains below -13 degrees Fahrenheit (-25 degrees Celsius) (over a 24-hour period) for several days in a row, combined with an indoor humidity of 40% or higher. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
