Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this vent hood! This hood works exceptionally well and we are very pleased with it. It looks very nice and is easy to clean. It has removable filters that can be cleaned and put back. The fan has four levels for exhaust and three light levels. When you turn the exhaust on it works with a vengeance! We would hate cooking things like fish or frying anything because it would stink up the whole house. Not now! This fan works wonderfully well. The only thing that I can say bad is it is very heavy and was difficult to put up. My husband and I did the installation ourselves and struggled with the weight. Once up I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performance at a reasonable price. We had the exhaust fan installed in August 2016 and have been very happy with its performance. It has 4 speeds, the lowest being quite quiet and the highest being exceptional at sucking away any moisture from the air when boiling water for pasta. When you turn it to the highest speed, you can actually see the moisture that accumulated on our kitchen window (from several minutes of boiling water) disappearing ! The fan also has a 5 minute timer. In addition, the 2 LED lights have 3 settings, the highest being almost bright enough to light up the room, and they use very little electricity. The price was also very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Hood fan I have ever purchased. Would highly recommend this product. When I first started looking for a hood fan, there were so many out there to choose from. The salesman I dealt with had this particular one in his home and highly recommended it. The fan is powerful having various speeds as well as the LED lighting from bright to dimmer. There is nothing I do not like about my hood fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Hood but istallation was difficult. I would have rated it all excellent but the rectangle exhaust vent was very difficult to adapt to my 5 inch exhaust duct. If this had been a new installation it would not have been a problem or if a 7 inch exhaust duct had been in place. We are well pleased with the looks and the performance of the product. I would recommend this product ot a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient and quiet I did not have a stove hood prior to this one, so had to hire an electrician to mount and wire in this unit on a dedicated circuit, and he coordinated with a heating a/c outfit to duct and vent it out through a kitchen cupboard over the stove and up through the attic into an existing roof vent. My installation was probably more complicated than most since I did not have a previously installed stove hood. I researched stove hood reviews very thoroughly, and Broan units had mostly 5 star reviews which beat all other units hands down. I wanted a stove hood that was attractive, efficient and quiet, and this hood fits that bill. I am very happy with the purchase and it was well worth the price paid. No more lingering odors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low noise, effective smoke and odor removal We are please with our new hood. Not only is it relatively quiet, it effectively removes odors and smoke.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product does a good job of removing smoke & odors. However, there are maintenance issues. This product does a good job of removing smoke & odors. However, replacing the light bulb is ridiculously difficult and the bulb involved must be special ordered as the GU10 base is not something stocked at local hardware stores. Also the stainless steel finish is rather fussy to keep looking nice and clean. Even the underside area beneath the filters is difficult to get clean. The overall style is functional but not exactly beautiful.

How do you change one of the halogen bulbs in model E66130WH?

Range hood is 3 years old
    Asked by: Anonymous
It's really hard. I've tried the way you describe, but whether or not it releases is totally random. Each time the bulb goes out, I go through the whole process again. Also, I do think the directions on how to remove the bulb should be on a sticker located in the same general area where the Serial and Model numbers are. It's such a laborious process, I'm actually getting rid of this hood.

For the E66136 hood, will this work with a six inch vertical round duct?

    Asked by: Anonymous
I am sorry that I do not understand the ramifications of using a six-inch vertical round duct. I realize that our "fit" issue was mostly due to our not wanting any major changes to the original architecture and interior design of the kitchen and I do not fault Broan for that at all. I didn't realize that even though I am only 5-ft tall, it is somewhat of a challenge still to use the back burners with hood so low.

Can you please compare or pro and con of e661 or qp436 besides the 600cfm for e661 and 630cfm for qp436.

    Asked by: Anonymous
I am so sorry, my choice was very limited by the constraints of our kitchen so we did not look at other models and went by the recommendation of the installers.

Per page 14 of the installation manual, 30" width fan replacement filter is SV06265. It is not clear if they are sold individually or in pairs.
