  • This patent-pending series marks a revolution of our mid-range ventilation fans. It gives professionals the flexibility to handle new construction or room-side retrofit installations from one hard-working product line with a full range of operating points. Innovations include foldable mounting ears and new damper and housing technology that improve building airtightness like never before. And all with new grille designs that are at home in any decor.

    • 80 CFM reduces humidity to quickly eliminate fogged mirrors and manage moisture in bathrooms up to 75 square feet, so your vision will always be clear and your surroundings will always be comfortable
    • Retrofit installations can be done entirely from the room-side – no attic access required. This means a faster, easier installation, so you can move on to something else
    • With our TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to Fifty Percent* compared to competitive models, resulting in better home performance via blower door tests and reducing cold and warm air backdrafts
    • EzDuct™ Connector can be installed room-side with no attic access required, fan housing connection have never been easier
    • UL Listed for use over tubs and showers with a GFCI circuit; so you can capture the steam before it spreads throughout the room by locating your fan exactly where you need it the most
    • 100W max. incandescent A19 type bulb or energy efficient equivalent bulb with Maximum Overall Length (M.O.L.) of 4.4" or less (bulb not included)
    • With our TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to 50% compared to competitive models, resulting in better home performance via blower door tests.*

*Testing reflects total fan housing airtightness. See broan.com/invent for more details.

  • AR80L is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clips will not hold up Grill with Light Main housing and fan installed well. BUT when it came time to do the Trim the clips that hold up the grill and light will not even keep them tight against ceiling. they will not fully engage and keep the Grill and light tight against the ceiling. The grill hangs down about 1.5 to 2" from ceiling. Looks terrible. Lot of work and time just wasted. Now I have a 9 x 10 hole in the ceiling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product that functions as advertised. Only issue was it came without installation instructions (which I got online) and it came without the springs that function to hold the lens assembly. I received those after informing that they were missing. It is really quiet and looks good. Light is above average for competitors with same incandescent fixture.

  • what is the difference between the a80l and the ar80l?

Thank you for your question on the AR80L ventilation fan with light. The AR80L is specifically designed for Menards. The units themselves are the same and offer the same ratings.

    Replacement fan/light unit

I have a Nutone LS80L that was installed 15 years ago and needs to be replaced. Will the AR80L fit in the same space? If not, do you have a replacement unit?
    Asked by: Brian
Thank you for your question on the Broan AR80L. The Nutone LS80l had a 11 1/4" x 9 3/8" housing and the Broan AR80L has a 9 1/4" x 10" housing. The grille on the AR80L is 11 1/2" by 12 1/8" . Depending on how your existing hole was cut it would be very close. Please call our Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453

IS there a trick to using the grill wires to connect light housing

I have attempted to connect the light cover/grill to the housing unit and I have no idea why it will not work. First problem is the wire is coming off the unit while I am putting it up, then when I have all that set, I cannot push it up easily. When I apply force, it snaps off and the grill wires come off. Is there a secret or do you think the grill wires are no longer usable. I just purchased this and it should not be this hard to do this last simple thing. Is there an alternative?
