Good product, very basic
This is your basic range hood, just vents the range out above your head, there is no way for this to be vented to the exterior of the building without major modification of the product. Any DIY'r could install this as long as you shut the power off and follow instructions.
For $42.00 you can't beat the value of price and can't expect much more than what it does.....it's nice to have a light again and fan though that's for sure

I cant find the diagram for the Original Electrical wiring. Can you provide one. I had to change the Fan w/Motor , forgot to take photos as a guide, now I cant rewire it properly. I found the pdf file with the wiring to a switch box, but im not using a switchbox so its of no use, I just need the Original Diagram.

How do I remove the filters for cleaning?
Thank you for your question on the model 413001L range hood. The 41000 hood is equipped with a ductfree filter. You remove the filter by turning the filter retainer to one side and pulling down on the front edge of the filter. The ductfree filter is not washable and will last up to 12 months with normal use. Replace the filter when the colored side becomes noticeably dirty or discolored. The part number for the non-ducted filter is 97007696 and it can be ordered from our website under the Shop for Parts link or by contacting Customer Service at 800-558-1711. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

what type of light bulb is used. not wttage but type.
both of my bulbs are burned out and I can not get them out. Are they screw in? or push and turn?
Thank you for your question on the 413001L, non-ducted range hood. This hood uses only one 75-watt (or less) incandescent bulb. If you have more than one bulb in your hood, we would recommend that you check the specification label that is located up, underneath the hood for the correct model or series number. Please contact our Technical Support department directly with further questions at 800-637-1453.
