    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 507 chain operated through the wall fan. There is a similar fan that has a little less CFM, model 509 is switch controlled and can use a solid state speed control to adjust the speed of the fan. You can download the spec sheet and installation instructions from our web site.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 506 through the wall exhaust fan. The 506 is designed to be used in walls from 4-1/2” to 9-1/2” thick only. We have no way of installing this unit in a thicker wall and do not recommend modifying the unit to fit a thicker wall.

How do I replace the chain hook on the door?

The chain won't stay on the hook. It appears that a part holding the chain hook to the door is missing. Is there such a part? How do I secure/repair so chain stays on the door? Do I need to replace the door?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question. The hook that you are referring to is part of the outside door assembly and is not sold alone. In order to repair your fan, you would need to order the door assembly. You may obtain this part (S97007003) by calling our Customer Service department at 800-558-1711 or by visiting the “Shop for parts” section, on our website. The current list price is $33.04.
