    • Twin halogen light system designed for bulbs up to 50 W,(PAR20 bulbs not included), can be adjusted to two levels with the front soft-touch push buttons. They provide bright, soft or ambient illumination for impressive lighting over the cook top and surrounding area. Enjoy the clear advantage of seeing what you are cooking
    • Two dishwasher-safe, aluminum grease filters are engineered to remove airborne particles efficiently and clean up easily to keep your range hood operating at peak efficiency (For non-duct option use charcoal filter, Model BPSF42, sold separately)
    • Clean SenseTM charcoal filters (BPSF42, sold separately) have an indicator that changes color when replacement is necessary for an easy maintenance reminder (non-ducted installation only)
    • Easy installation with keyhole mounting slots, connector/backdraft dampers and four ducting options provide simple flexibility
      • 3 1/4” x 10” vertical discharge

    • Permanently lubricated fan motor is designed for years of trouble-free service
    • UL listed for safety and HVI certified to ensure confidence in performance ratings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and efficient operations The unit replaces a real old model that did not work other than the one speed fan. The unit has dual light settings and dual speed. It also compliments all the other new appliances we purchased. The quiet operations is also a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb product. This replaced a previous Broan hood that was hit by lightening. This one, although not as expensive as previous, is a much better hood. It is silent, and with the halogen lamp provides excellent light and functions properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisffied with this product. Recommend it highly. The product exceeds my expectations. The vent fan operates very quietly on low, but manages to vent well at that setting. On high it operates extremely efficiently. The dual level brightness lighting system is a real plus and makes for great visibility in a large area. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely awful I bought this range hood about 6 weeks ago, and I kept thinking maybe I was the problem with it. I had just moved from a previous home where I had installed a Broan and just loved it. This design isn't worth having. In fairness, this model I bought is ductless, so all the usual caveats on that apply. However, it doesn't excuse the fact this model does NOT draw. The vents are in the back and the lights up front. Even on the highest fan setting, any smoke or steam are drawn to the lights. When you turn off the lights, all that happens is you can't see...the smoke/steam stays in front of the vents. The second problem is there is no light indicator that shows over the light selection. Unless you happen to remember what you hit, you run up and down the choices until you hit it. I suspect that's a manufacturing defect. I am really disappointed in this hood. I'm going to have to purchase another one that is better, and I won't be looking at the Broan brand for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we wanted or we woulden't have purchased it. Goes grate with our kitchen remodel and appliance update. Very stylish and functional. The hood was installed by a professional so presumed it was easily installed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice under cabinet hood with lights We bought this unit & installed it ourselves. My husband is very handy with tools and home installs/fix-its. It did require both of us to install though. I held it up while he screwed it in. We did have to make some minor modifications to our cabinet to fit as well. Otherwise, it works well for ventilating not too loud and the lighting is good too. I did have to purchase the led lights separately though. Looks nice & sleek.

    Lights

I have a Qs130BL, My problem is the lights no longer work, I replaced bulbs and still no lights. (bulbs do work). Could this be a switch, socket assembly or other?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Turn off your power and check your wiring connections. If you have a multi- meter you can test the switch and the sockets. If neither light works in either low or high my guess is a loose wire connection.

My unit is recirculating exhaust out of the grill on top. What needs to be done to have it exhaust outside?

    Asked by: Anonymous
You need to make sure you have a vent going up to the roof or outside wall to exhaust. Some stove vents only recirculate exhaust especially on track houses. So basically all it does is spit the smoke and exhaust back into the house. I know this because our last house did that. You'll need to call a reputable contractor to fix it.
