    Answer:
Thank you for your question on PAR 20 light bulbs. Par 20 light bulbs have a screw in base. If you cannot unscrew the bulb, it is either stuck or the lamp socket is turning. Please contact our Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453, with the model number of the unit you are dealing with.

    Answer:
Jay - I had this exact same problem. I couldn't figure out if I was going the right way or not, it wouldn't budge. I had to take apart the light fixture on my Allure (by Broan# range hood, and even after that I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to come out. After a lot of force turning the bulb counter clockwise, I was able to get the bulb to come out. It must get a bit of corrosion #or something) on the thread, making it hard to get out of the range hood. It works just like any regular light bulb, but takes a bit of grip/force

    Replacement halogen bulbs

I have used GE PAR20 50 watt halogen indoor floodlight replacement bulbs and they worked fine. GE has replaced them with a 38 watt PAR20 halogen indoor floodlight bulb and states on their package that the 50 watt is no longer available. I have bought two of these bulbs and they do not light at all when placed in the socket. How do I get a working replacement bulb now?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the PAR 20, 50 watt halogen bulbs. It appears that you will need to go to a different manufacturer for your bulbs. We have found that some manufacturers have started making shorter necks on their bulbs and they will not go completely down into the socket. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

Thank you for your question on PAR 20 bulbs. I do not believe you can get PAR 20, GU10 bulbs. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 with the model number of the unit that requires the bulbs in question.

Thank you for your question on range hoods. The range hood would simply supply power to the light bulb. It would supply the same voltage to both lamps. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for assistance.

We live in a rural area...and my husband picked up two 50w halogen bulbs for my range hood...a brand I never heard of before and they fit but seem to project out into the room a bit more than I would like. I would like the light a bit more recessed into the range hood. My question is what is the length and width of the PAR20 bulb?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on range hoods light bulbs. There is no standard for the length of the PAR20 light bulbs. The length will differ with the different manufacturers of the bulbs. Many of the range hoods will have an adjustment on the lamp sockets to accommodate different length bulbs. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
