  • Energy efficient solutions in traditional designs. A bath fan needn’t call attention to itself, especially when you don’t want it to overpower the design of your bath or powder room. More important, it shouldn’t call attention to itself on your electric bill. With energy efficiency for the high-traffic bathroom, the QT130LE simply does its job quietly, in every sense of the word.

Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is constructed very well. This product was much quieter in store display. With no vent piping and exhaust hood tree is no back pressure to hear the true level of noise. I hope this one holds up as well as the last few I've purchased for my other homes. March 10, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by good product, quiet. functions as expected. I would recommend this product because it is very quiet and is simple to install. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lots of Features This was a replacement for an older fan. This is much quieter and the overhead light is nice and adds the extra bit of light we needed in the room. Installation was fairly easy even considering that we had to run new wiring because our old model was just a fan -- no light or night light. The only complaint I have is that the box did not indicate on the outside that you needed to purchase the three button switch separately and I had to make an extra trip to the store to get one. It mentions it in very small print on the directions inside the box. Needs to be on the outside too. February 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Braon Review I have found this unit to have a lot of noise while in use, it sounds as though it may be out of balance. March 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works very well. Quiet and efficient. We installed this fan when we remodeled our master bathroom. It had a small fan before and the walls would be damp after showers even though it was running. The replacement does a very good job in removing the moisture from the room. February 20, 2013

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. This unit is designed to use three switches to operate the three functions (light, fan and night light) individually. If have three switches wired to this unit and the switch does not turn the night light off, you would either have a switch problem or a wiring problem.

When I try to do this the fan comes on, but the lights are very very dim, and barely turn on.

Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. You can run the fan and light on one switch and the night light on a second switch. Wire all three of the white wires to the house white neutral wire. Wire the black and blue wires from the unit to the hot power wire from your first switch. Wire the red wire from the unit to the hot power wire from your second switch. For further assistance please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453.

Wiring to only two separate switches.

Our current installation has only two separate switches, one for fan and one for light. We currently have do not have a night light.

Any suggestions on wiring this new unit. We do not require that the night light be operational. My thoughts were to hook it up without night light operational, but I am open to other options an how to make it work with the existing switch configuration.

    Thanks

Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. You can either hook the light and fan to one switch (they will both come on together) and the night light to the second switch, or wire the fan to one switch, the light to the second switch and cap off the red wire (night light power wire). Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. You can wire the light and fan to the single hot wire from your switch and operate them both at the same time. You should cap off the red wire since you will not be using the night light. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. The night light is designed to operate with a separate wall switch. We would have no way of making the night light come on automatically when the light is turned off.
