Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice design, very quiet We love the sleek design. We love the fact that the bulb sockets are the regular size.(not the chandelier socket). It is so nice and quiet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. This is an excellent fan and is very quiet. We had an issue with moisture in our bathroom but this fan has made a world of difference. I'd recommend it highlyl

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this fan again. After going to two home shows and talking to people in various booths, I thought this fan was the best for the money. It is very quiet when running. I put it on a timer because a couple times I forgot to turn it off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet Power I replaced my old 90 CFM bathroom fan with the QT 130. It does an excellent job of clearing the steam and keeping the fog off the bathroom mirror. installation was pretty easy. I just had to cut the ceiling hole a little larger and use the supplied bracket. This fan is way more powerful than my old one, and is twice as quiet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the way it works! I love the way this exhaust fan performs. It's very quiet and powerful. The mirror never steams up anymore while I'm showering like it used too! I would buy another one with out question and would recommend it to anyone. Very good product, and I mean that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This exhaust fan is very quiet. This exhaust fan is very quiet and powerful. It removes the steam very quickly so no buildup on the mirror or the walls. Couldn't ask for one any better than this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is constructed very well. This product was much quieter in store display. With no vent piping and exhaust hood tree is no back pressure to hear the true level of noise. I hope this one holds up as well as the last few I've purchased for my other homes.

  • Can the fan/light be run with one switch and the night light on a separate switch?

When I try to do this the fan comes on, but the lights are very very dim, and barely turn on.
    Asked by: Ed
This is a poor design in fan. Not many houses have 3 wire ran to the fan, and no house has 4 wire ran to the fan. To be able to control the three separate features, you need 4 wires. 3 switched, and 1 neutral. Who wants to have to turn on the night light every day, you may as well just turn on the actual light when you go to the bathroom at night. Your option is have the night light on all the time, which the bulb would not last long. If anything, the night light should be wired hot, and have a light sensor.

How do you remove the Squirrel Cage to thoroughly clean the housing or replace the motor?

Just purchased, I want to pull out the fan housing for cleaning when needed and figure it out before installing to make this task easier when needed. With the two Squirrel Cage mounting screws removed, it 'floats' in the housing but seems to be attached behind the motor somehow and won't come out. There appears to be no way it is fastened to the housing, yet won't release. Where?
    Asked by: -DEREK-
Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. After you remove the two screws, you will need to place a small flat bladed screwdriver between the housing bracket (where you removed the screw) and unit housing to gently pry the bracket away from the housing and pull it out. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 if you need further assistance.

I only have 2 wires and a ground to the current fan. With this unit, can I wire the fan and both lights all on the same switch?

    Asked by: Mac
Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. You can wire the light and fan to the single hot wire from your switch and operate them both at the same time. You should cap off the red wire since you will not be using the night light. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

Which type of electrical control (switch) do you recommend with this fan? A 4-function or a 3-function?

    Asked by: Steve
Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. For independent operation of the fan, light and night light, you would use a three function switch.

I do not need to use the light in this fan anymore. Can I get a replacement grill that does not have the lense built into it?

    Asked by: Martyy
Thank you for your question on the model QT130LE exhaust fan/light/night light. The only available grille for the QT130LE would have the lens in it. We would not have a substitute grille for that unit, without a lens.
