Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet and Efficient When renovating our main bathroom, we installed the Boran QTRE080FLT. Our contrator recommended this model to meet our needs for a quiet, attractive and efficient unit. We couldn't be more pleased with its quality and ease of installation.and most importantly, with its perfomance. March 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is great The fan is quiet and is very efficient exhausting. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice product works great easy to install also looks great. Haas all the features you could need in a bathroom fan March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very quite, easy install. However fan motor initially tripped the faceless "Leviton 7590" GFCI protecting the lighting circuit in this master bathroom. Tripping of the GFCI only occurs when fan motor is switched off. Replaced Leviton 7590 and issue was reduced to 25%. Now customer states that 50% of the times the fan is switched off, the GFCI trips. Is this common? October 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by good fan. Quiet. good light options. Installed as part of total bath restoation project. Went in easy. Visitors comment on how quiet the fan is, and air movement is good. A good fan with no problems. February 20, 2013

previous fan? Or can you "ignore" the night light feature? I'm assuming there would be extra electrician charges for adding a switch.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTRE080FLT exhaust fan/fluorescent light/night light. To have independent operation of the fan, light and night light, you would need three switches. If you do not have a third switch, you can cap off the wire to the night light and not use it.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTRE080FLT exhaust fan/light/night light. For independent operation of all the functions on the QTRE080FLT you would need a single bare ground wire, a single white neutral wire and three hot power wires. If you only have a single ground wire, single white wire and single black wire, you could connect the fan and light together on the same switch and not use the night light. This unit also requires a four inch duct work for proper operation. For further assistance please contact our Technical service Department at 800-637-1453.

    Answer:
Yes it does, but we would also recommend using a roof/wall cap with a built in damper to help further reduce back drafts.
