Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice replacement I installed this fan myself as a replacement for out old, noisy bathroom fan. This one literally blows away the old one! It has very nice air intake, it is much quieter than our old fan and the LED light is very bright. However, I would not want the light as the only source of lighting for the room unless it were in a very small bathroom. Very good product, I would buy again, but, I hope that isn't going to be for a long time! May 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by great light! I needed additional light in small bathroom near shower area. I could see this one down the aisle. It is quieter than my old fan and includes the LED light. It doesn't seem to draw the steam out as well. I have water running down the walls. It doesn't matter how short the shower. I dread when I have to replace it when the light burns out. April 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quietest Fan Ever Installation worked well, LED light is bright enough so other bathroom lights usually aren't needed, very, very quiet fan that still moves a good volume of air. We'll see if it will last 15 years like the last Broan (which was noisy). April 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Fan Easy to install, quiet. The LED is nice. I paired it with a timer switch. Works very well. March 31, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice fan moves the air and very bright light the fan is powerful moves a lot of air and the light really lightens its not just for looks pretty simple installation I installed three of them in my cabin in no time spent more time on venting then anything found that pvc sewer pipe sch 30 works great for the vents and will not rust March 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It Is Great; Second One I Purchased! Second one I have bought within a month. Easy to install; powerful motor, great looks and bright light! February 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy install Very happy with my choice of this product. Installed during bath remodel. Removing old fan/light was the hardest part of project. Fan very quiet and light very bright. February 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Low Profile My husband installed this over a shower we were remodeling. It can be used this way if it's connected to a GFCI circuit. He had a little difficulty attaching it to the ceiling joist, there were no brackets included. It provides adequate light over the shower area. We have low ceilings, so the fact that it had a low profile was the reason we purchased it. The fan is very quiet, you'd hardly know it was on. January 10, 2016

Our current fan has a 60 watt incandescent bulb. How does the LED light output compare? Is the LED light output adjustable? Also, what is the retail price of the unit?

    Answer:
I had the same 60 watt bulb in my old bath light/fan. The LED will really brighten things up nicely. I paid 149.00 at lowes.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 791LED exhaust fan with LED light. The LED light in the 791LED is rated at 800 lumens. 800 lumens is the approximate brightness of a 60 watt incandescent bulb. The LED light cannot be dimmed. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 791LED exhaust fan/light. If you have no access from above (attic or crawl space) you will probably need to tear out more ceiling than would normally be necessary and patch the ceiling after the installation.

    Answer:
Yes I had no access to the top of mine. Was able to undo the pipe to the vent and put it on the new fan.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 791LED exhaust fan/light. If the LED lamps would ever burn out, you would need to replace the grille assembly. The LED lamps have a long life expectancy, but parts are available if necessary.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 791LED and 791LEDNT exhaust fan/light. The 791LED is a Broan product and the 791LEDNT is a NuTone product. Other than the branding, they are the same unit.

    Answer:
They are not the same as the Broan rep indicated. Look at pictures of them both online. The Nutone has a grille sort of collar between the faceplate and ceiling. The Broan is flush-mount with respect to the faceplate. Some reviews of the Nutone refer to appearance issues because you can see through the collar-grille into the fan interior and/or ceiling. I chose the Broan for this reason.
