Thank you for the question on the 332H external exhaust fan. Whether you would need the 332KR rough-in kit would depend on the range hood involved. Please contact our Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for assistance.

Does this kit have an on/off switch or a variable speed knob?

I want to use this with the 336 external fan, but does it have an on/off switch and variable speed knob or do I have to supply it?
    Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question on the model 332KR rough-in kit for the RMIP insert with external blowers. This rough-in kit is designed to be used with the RMIP insert only, and the RMIP would contain the speed control.

How do I wire it with make-up air?

Can you provide me a wiring instruction and diagram for connecting to damper? My builder provide the power wiring from my elite 6000 hood to the damper transformer directly, so the damper is always opened. How do I wire it, so the damper will open/close when vent hood is turned on and closed when turned off.
    Asked by: Jack
Thank you for your question on the Broan model E60000 series range hood. In the junction box of the range hood, you will find a black, white, and orange wire. You will need to connect the orange wire from the hood to the black wire of the transformer. Then the white wire of the hood to white wire on the transformer that powers the make-up air damper. For further instructions and diagram please contact Technical Support at 800-637-1453.
