  • Significantly increase the quality of the air inside your home with a BROAN ERV. Allergens and pollutants within your home can have negative effects on your health. By adding a BROAN ERV to your home's ventilation system, you can ensure that the air within your home is being circulated and the pressure remains balanced.

The BROAN ERV100HC is perfect for 3,000-4,500 sq. ft. single-family homes and is preferred for use in warmer, humid climates where the cooling season is longer. For air-conditioned homes in humid climates, the ERV100HC will limit the amount of moisture allowed in, while in a dry climate with a humidified home, it will control the amount of moisture expelled to maintain optimal comfort levels. The units are durable, reliable and offer high performance that will be sure to add value and quality to any home. An easy-access side panel makes maintenance quick and convenient with the ability to remove all parts in five minutes or less.

    • Ideal for homes in moderately humid climates from 3,001 to 4,500 square feet
    • Delivers 60 to 142 CFM of whole-house balanced ventilation
    • Replaces stale and polluted indoor air with fresh outdoor air minimizing negative or positive pressure in the house
    • The energy recovery enthalpic core slows moisture transfer from outdoor air and indoor air (depending which has higher humidity levels)
    • Year round energy recovery with the benefit of fresh air and energy savings
    • Defrost mechanism prevents ice build up in the system core

What kind of recovery core does the Guardian ERV 200 HC have?

We recently moved into a home that has a Guardian ERV 200 HC system. I would like to clean the filters and the recovery core but don't know if it's Polypropylene (can be washed# or Enthalpic paper #cannot be washed). My guess is that the recovery core has not been clean since it was installed in 2001!

I need a filter for this model erv100hc. It's part 15 in the diagram. It's the big square filter not the foam filters.

    How to connect to furnance

    Customer avatar
    by

I had the ERV200HC installed to come on when my furnance turned on. I have since, replaced the furnance with a Goodman MCV95 unit and the installer claims that it cannot be connected to turn on with the furnance?
Is this correct? If not who can provide me with details to do this?
    Thank you

    Answer:
On our website, www.broan.com, put in your model number at the top of the page. Once the model number comes up, click on Additional Information. From there you can download the USER MANUAL, which contains great graphics, will be very helpful in the use and care of the unit. with great graphics.

To remove the cover, unlatch the door. Lift the panel towards you. Hold it firmly and hit on the right side of the panel. The door should slide to the left.
