I have three ceiling heaters (for over 30 years now), none of which have timers, and love, love the heaters. Once, I left hastily and left the heater on...returned in about an hour and found it still own. Never realized a timer could be added....now the county building code requires timers and believe me, I think is a wonder idea! The new heater and switch have been installed in the new house, but isn't ready for occupancy as yet, however, we're excited about now having a timer for safety. It is quite sad most electrical products no longer contain switches or cords. The consumer must purchase these things separately.
