Will this work in a dual-gang box along side another switch?
The specs say this fits a single-gang box, but I would like to replace my existing switch for the old fan with this 64W, which is currently in a dual-gang box configuration.
I assume I would need a rocker or GFCI type cover and does this control come apart at the rectangular line drawn in the picture or is the "cover" attached?
I just got off the phone with Broan Technical Service Department at the number listed. The lady told me that she knew of no 2-gang wall plate that would fit this switch. The 1-gang cover that comes with this switch is unique to this switch. I agree with her as I have this switch installed in a 2-gang box and cannot find a cover that fits it. The hole that toggle fits through is not a standard size. It is larger than toggle size and smaller than decora/GFI/rocker size.

Does this timer make noise like a rotary timer?
I have a Broan XB110L fan/light. I hooked up a rotary timer and it worked well, but the timer was louder than the fan as it counted down. I had to pull it out. Does this timer control make any noise?
Thank you for your question on the 64W timer. This switch IS compatible with the XB110L. It does not make a sound like a rotary timer. If you have further questions, please contact Technical Support at 800-637-1453.

Do I need to run four wires from the switch to the fan?
I only have a 14/2 (with ground) wire running TO the switch, but in your installation wiring diagram it looks like I need a 3 wire (with ground) to run from the switch to the fan/light?
I want to use the delay feature where the light turns off but the fan continues to run for X time period.

Does the 64W work with CFL and LED lamps?
What if there are both CFL and LED on the same switch?
Thank you for your question on the model 64W exhaust fan/light control with off-delay. There should be no problem using the 64W with CFL and LED lamps. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
