Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional rangehood This rangehood has good features, smooth operation and sleek appearance. The controls are responsive and the power off delay feature is great to have. Have yet to see the excessive heat override operate, but the balance of features is great enough. Little tedious to install, but well worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from install issues we bought this unit today and got to the part in the directions that said put the ring on the fan and there is no way it will fit. its really frustrating to have to put something together and the quality control didn't do their job. this is going back and I don't recommend buying it to anyone. we drove 30 miles each way to get it. I also agree the light bulbs should be included.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fan issues I just had the range hood installed by a professional and turned the fan on for the first time and it sounds like the motor is going to be dead soon. The fan starts then winds down and sounds like a car that isn't getting enough gas. I'm not happy with the product at all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Broan is a reliable, dependable range hood. We like the stainless steel finish of our new Broan range hood. However, this model's fan is noisier than our 12-14 y/o Broan range hood we replaced. Company should go ahead and install LED bulbs in this model instead of consumer going out and buying the 2 PAR20 50W Halogen bulbs which cost approx. 19 dollars! (LED replacements are available on line)RE

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy extended warranty I loved this vent. But at 14 months it went dark. This hood is full of electronic boards and two transformers. So buy extended warranty. I don't think I have ever had a new hood go out this soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable fan The fan worked well for two weeks. Now it does not work at speed 1 & 2 but works at 3 (highest speed set up) with stupid noise.

  • Clean filter button

The clean filter button keeps blinking. How do I turn it off? I pressed it for 3 seconds and nothing happened.
    Asked by: asdf
Turn on fan and light to high, meaning three indicators than push Filter button for three sec. This will shut the Blinking Light off

    Two right buttons?

Can you please explain what the two right buttons on the hood do? I figured a product manual would explain this but it's not there. Thanks
    Asked by: Nick k
The button to the far right is actually a warning light that goes on when filters are needed to be changed. Button to the left of that one is a timer button. After starting fan, touch timer button and fan will shut off automatically after 10 minutes.

The light at the far right keeps flashing when we have turned the fan and lights off. what do I need to do?

    Asked by: paul
I believe that's the indicator that your filters need changing.

Can I use an LED light instead of halogen in this model? My particular concern is the dimming mechanism - sometimes they flicker when dimmed.

    Asked by: Nikki
I just installed Sylvania Ultra LED PAR20. There seems to be little difference in brightness between the dimmer settings. There is a flicker on all but the highest setting.

New install. Fan won't turn on. Hot to the touch

Lights work. Display works. Fan does not. Doesn't start till high setting with the help of pushing it physically. And has become super hot. Runs very slow. Bad fan?
    Asked by: Pete
Maybe there is (was) cardboard packing material still in place which prevents the motor from turning. This was the case with the actual display model at Lowe's while I was looking at available range hoods in Jan. of 2013.
