  • Can you custom fabricate

The inside of my cabinet is 17 1/4" deep by 34" wide, bought this box liner on the internet and it does not fit. We tried cutting thru the edges and still does not fit. Please advise if you can custom fabricate. Thank you

Thank you for your question on the model LB36 custom range hood liner. We do not custom fabricate liners. If our liners do not fit your application you would need to contact a local metal fabricator to make one for you.

Our cabinet man intends to build a wood surround for the LB36 using your PM390. If there is a problem how do we access 1)motor 2)vent pipe to ceiling

    Asked by: Bob
Thank you for your question on the PM390 and LB36 liner. The liner protects the inside the cabinet and finishes off the bottom of your power module. You can still access the motor to the power module, just like you could without the liner. The duct work should be accessible from above the unit since it has a vertical discharge. We would recommend that you contact our Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453 should you have specific questions.

We have a 30 drop in range no wall cabinets. Consumer Reports suggested a wider hood than 30" saying wider better. How often do people do 36/30's?

Is this an real odd situation to use a 36 hood over a 30" range when there are not wall cabinets to catch the fumes or is it done. If it is done do you hear regrets or if not done regrets?
    Asked by: Bob
Thank you for your question on range hoods. We recommend that your hood be at least as wide as your stove or cook top. Should you want to go larger, we would have no issues with this. We do not have data available for customers using a larger width hood, but I can't say it would be an issue. Should you like to speak to someone directly, please contact our Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453.

LB36 Liner designed to fit into 18" Deep Wood Hood or Cab. Bottom

Liner is 17-1/4" D. Will it work with a minimum 17-1/4" D to a maximum 18" D Wood Hood or Cabinet Bottom?? I have a 17-1/2" D opening. I assume the width measurements of 34-7/16 is designed to fit a nominal opening of 36".
