    Cleaning filter?

    Hello!
    I am hoping you will be able to provide me with instructions on how to
    clean the filter and "grill" portion of the hood? It looks like it should just pop out for cleaning, but no luck! I undid the little latches in the front and it swings to the back, but that's as far as it gets. Is there a way that the grill part can come off and be cleaned in soapy water? What a fun job!!!

    I want to know what will be visible along the bottom of the cabinet, viewing the cabinet from the front, as I am trying to have a line of wall cabinets that line up perfectly, and am wondering how the installation of the fan will affect the look, or will it be almost invisible? Also, if you looked under the cabinet, is the underside of the stainless/brushed aluminum fan also a stainless color? Thanks

    HI, Esther. Thanks for your question. You may want to go back to the web-site and review the installation instructions. if you scroll down the page and click on 'Infor & Guides' you can review the install guide and the owner's manual. IF this does not give you enough information, try going to www.broan.com, type in the model 153004 and review the Specification Sheets. This unit is designed to fit up in to the cabinet. It has to be at least 18" from the cook top surface, and you must be cable to slide out the panel that allows you to turn it on.     Answer: 
    The height of the glass drawer that slides out is 1 inch. While it will be visible, it won't detract from your cabinet line by much. It is a stainless color looking at the range hood from the underside.
