Overview says LED lights but....
....Installation Guide says:
Install the Light Bulbs (BPDC1 Series only)
Install two shielded Halogen Bulbs (120 V, 50 W max., MR16 or PAR16 with GU10 base), not included.
and then further says LED lights are not recommended. Please advise if this hood accepts LED lights and what size/type should be purchased for it.
Thank you for your questions today. You mention the model BPDC in your question, but list your question under the BPDP model. We will try to clarify for you.
The BPDC model uses two 50 watt halogen bulbs which are included (the installs are incorrect). We recommend that you use only the type of bulb recommended for your range hood. Using a replacement LED bulb will not void the warranty; however we cannot guarantee the operation or life of the LED bulbs. Due to higher heat generated by cooking, the lifespan of the bulb could be greatly shortened. Improper controls for the LED bulb can also cause flickering on low light settings or even no light at all. Sometimes the LED replacement may not shut off, staying on at a very low level even when the light switch is off.
The BPDP uses LED's which are included with the purchase of the hood.

In a ductless installation, where does the air go after it gets sucked up into the fan?
I purchased this product and intend to mount it directly over the range using the ductless installation. After I knock out the recirculating plate, where does the air go?
Thank you for your question on the Broan BPDP130SS. After you remove the 3 screws retaining the recirculation cover plate to the hood the air gets drawn up through the bottom of the filters and then returns into your kitchen through the area that the plate was just removed on top of your hood. If you have further questions please contact Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453.

can the LED modules be replaced?
can the LED modules be replaced? if so, what is the part number?
Does "hybrid baffle" mean that the filter includes a mesh component?
Thank you for your question on the Broan BPDP136SS. The part number for the replacement LED is 97020444. The hybrid baffle filter does have a aluminum mesh screen covering the baffle filter. If you have further questions please contact Technical Support directly at 800-637-1453.

I own a e64000 elite series hood. I would like to buy a recirculation kit that fits it. can I buy from you..
Yes there is a recirculation kit for the E64000 hood. The model number of the kit is based on the width of your hood.
The kit comes in 30, 36, 42 and 48 inch widths. The model number of the kit is ANKE60XX2SS (put the size in place of the xx).
This kit would have to be ordered through a local distributor because we do not sell direct.
Thank you for contacting Broan,
