The sound level is very important. Our previous product sounded like a plane was taking off in the kitchen. Lighting was a important feature also.

This is a great hood. It draws smoke well and quietly. It lights the stove top so you can see better while cooking.

Replaced one almost exactly like this one - a few years older. New one much quieter and seems to work well. This is a non-vented hood but seems to do the job.
