  • Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile and reliable, the Broan GSHH3K quietly refreshes the air and gives us a high degree of confidence that the air we are breathing is healthy. We installed our Broan GSHH3K upon the advice of an environmental specialist. It was recommended , in part, because our house is so airtight. The installation process was a bit challenging for our contractor, but we eventually got it in correctly. We have found it easy to use and maintain, and the techs at Broan have been very helpful in response to questions. We can tell the difference in the quality of the air. We have two dogs in the house, and you can hardly tell. We ask people who come inside whether it smells "doggy," and they say that it smells fresh and clean. We highly recommend this product. Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has helped us with respiratory issues We have been satisfied with the Broan GSHH3K unit so far, since we purchased it 9 months ago. My wife had respiratory issues before we moved in and so we installed this unit in hopes that it would help with her problem. In nine months she has not had one respiratory issue, where as the previous year, in a different location, she was ill at least 6 times over a twelve month period. I can not say that this is the main reason for the improved health, bit this is the only item related to air exchange that has been added to her environment. For anyone wanting better air quality in their homes I would recommend this unit. December 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far so good. I installed this air exchanger last fall. My home didn't have one except for the upstairs bathroom fan with a switch in the basement. I've only had it about 6 months but there isn't anything to complain about yet. May 12, 2013

Is there a replacement for this? This is a great model and one of its kind that is available. Is there an equivalent model that is available? HEPA with ventilation?

I installed this product about 2 months ago and till now it's working great.
The retailer told me it's made in U.S.A, but another retailer told me all broan's products are made in China.
I purchased this product somehow because it's a U.S product, so I want to know where it is made?
On the nameplate the model is GSHH3K1C.

I have a newer home built in 2010. I'm interested to know if I require an additional make up air unit to provide "positive" pressure inside the home, so that the air to air unit, or other direct vent appliances do not cause a problem with depressurizing the house. I have a Geothermal furnace, so that is not a concern, however the various powered bath vents and range hood and a direct vent hot water heater do exhaust air with out a direct means of replacing it. Is this unit designed to provide a slight positive pressure in the home so that the occasion use of a powered vent does not draw air thru window or other unfiltered cracks in the building envelope?
