    • Twin halogen light system designed for bulbs up to 50 W,(PAR20 bulbs not included), can be adjusted to two levels with the front soft-touch push buttons. They provide bright, soft or ambient illumination for impressive lighting over the cook top and surrounding area. Enjoy the clear advantage of seeing what you are cooking
    • Two dishwasher-safe, aluminum grease filters are engineered to remove airborne particles efficiently and clean up easily to keep your range hood operating at peak efficiency (For non-duct option use charcoal filter, Model BPSF30, sold separately)
    • Clean SenseTM charcoal filters (BPSF30, sold separately) have an indicator that changes color when replacement is necessary for an easy maintenance reminder (non-ducted installation only)
    • Easy installation with keyhole mounting slots, connector/backdraft dampers and four ducting options provide simple flexibility
      • 3 1/4” x 10” vertical discharge
      • 3 1/4” x 10” horizontal discharge
      • 7” round, vertical discharge
      • Non-ducted recirculation requires two Clean SenseTM charcoal filters, BPSF30, sold separately
    • Includes adjustable duct connectors to accommodate off-center ductwork and make installation a snap
    • Permanently lubricated fan motor is designed for years of trouble-free service
    • UL listed for safety and HVI certified to ensure confidence in performance ratings

Rated 5 out of 5 by This Rocks I have owned many other Brands of range hoods in my life, but this one is by far the best yet!! The lighting is absolutely awesome, fans are quiet. It goes so well with my stainless steel frig that stands next to it. If someone told me they were in the market for a new range hood I would certainly try to convince them to purchase a Broan! My daughter has one also and has had it for many years and it is still performing beautifully. It's a keeper! February 16, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by issues with the lighting! Three months after the range hood was installed 1 of the lights stopped working. Three months later the other light stopped working. I had to purchase a whole new wire/light harness in order to have working lights. I read in the booklet that was not covered under the warranty. February 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by this product runs very quiet I was looking to replace my old range hood and wanted quiet and good looking. The fit and finish are great and the perfermance is exactly what I wanted. Win Win February 9, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by It not only looks nice but its quiet and efficient Like I said, it's quiet, efficient and it has double lights that have high and low lighting and I can use it for a night light in the kitchen. It's also easy to clean. I'd recommend it to anyone. Mine is an Allure, black and streamline. February 7, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Have trouble with the inner fan wobbling.. I bought one of these units several months ago. The fan always wobbles and occassionaly makes noises. I lost the warranty card. The fan eventually came off the motor and fell onto the range after a month. I had bought it online. I did not want to remove the unit and ship it back, so I just replace the wobbly fan back on the motor. Someday I will take the time to replace the whole unit with a better more expensive unit. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for cost. Pros: Great Lighting, quiet on low settings. Cons: The intake could extend farther into the front half of the unit. As designed fumes from front burners only get drawn into fan on high - which has a higher noise level. February 6, 2015

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QS130SS range hood. For best capture of cooking impurities, your range hood should be mounted so that the top of the hood is 24-30” above the cooking surface.

I have a brand new-not yet installed model. I noticed while spinning the blade it is badly warped and rubs against the metal fan housing. Can the blade be replaced. I removed the retaining pin, but the blade does not seem to budge.

    thank you!!

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QS130SS range hood. If the unit is brand new and the blade is warped, it can be taken back to the place of purchase for a replacement unit. The fan blade is force fit onto the motor shaft and has a hairpin clip through the hub of the blade and motor shaft. Once the hairpin clip is removed the blade should pull off. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QS130SS range hood. The QS1 series range hood is a four way convertible hood. It can be installed as non-ducted, ducted horizontally with 3-1/4” x 10” rectangular duct or ducted vertically with 3-1/4” x 10” or 7” round duct work.
