Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electric Wall Timer and supplemental on/off switch The timer is used to supply an outlet with power. The outlet in turn has a heater plugged into it. The timer is a one-hour timer. It prevents users from leaving the heater on indefinitely. It is especially useful at night as it allows us to go to sleep with the heater on knowing it will be automatically turned off in a hour or less. The on/off switch operates a small circulation fan that keep airflow in our house from getting stagnant. We use it mostly in the summer months. Both are working as advertised. We couldn't be happier with their respective performances and highly recommend them for others having similar requirements.

I want to make sure that the timer and rocker switch can be wired to separate items. The timer for a ceiling exhaust fan and the rocker switch for the ceiling lights in the bathroom area.

Thank you for your question on the model 63W wall switch and 60 minute timer combination unit. The switch and timer are designed to connect to separate devices and operate them individually. You should not have a problem using it for your application.
