Rated 5 out of 5 by Moves large volume of air Average to install with all parts included. Moves large volume of air. Good quality and expect many years service. May 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product really made a differance I did have this installed by a professional. He said he had no problem and we did not use the four inch reducer. We had this for several months now and you can barely hear the motor is on. Liked the night light option as well. March 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fair Had somebody install it. Takes more than an hour to dry the bathroom. March 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reliable and easy to clean. We installed the fans in both bathrooms in 2012. They are powerful enough to take care of condensation very well. Absolutely no "fog" is on the mirrors after a shower. They are quiet but efficient. March 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as quiet as advertised. Only good for new construction installation. Otherwise the 1/4" flanges around the edge of the fan cover mean that you need to cut extra wide hole in order to install the fan box. The rattling noise is annoying when the newly installed fan is turned on. I tried to use aluminum duct tape to tape off all the suspected loose components, hoping to silent the rattling noise but without success. I have to live with the rattling noise until the fan motor quits and replace it with another brand or model. January 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent exhaust fan. When we upgraded two bathrooms three years ago, the contractor recommended this product. It has proved to be an excellent exhaust fan and both bathrooms were upgraded with this equipment. I have also recommended this unit to other friends and relatives. I normally do not do recommendations, but I have made an absolute exception in this case. I believe the product is excellent and the value for the cost cannot be surpassed. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fan ~ will buy another for my second bathroom! Your fan is very quiet. It moves much more air than the contractors standard fan that came with my new home. Your fan was simple to install. I am very please with this new unit in my bathroom. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great value It's quite and powerful- installation was relatively easy March 10, 2014

I assume these are 115 volt, single phase fans but I cannot find that information in any of the documentation. Please clarify.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTR110 exhaust fan. The QTR110 is designed for use in the U.S. with standard 120 VAC house line voltage. The installation instructions and spec sheets do show that the unit uses 120 VAC line voltage. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTR080 exhaust fan. Using four inch rigid duct work, the QTR080 will handle up to 23 feet of straight duct work. You would need to reduce that distance by four feet for every elbow.

Wiring is already installed for the fan/light combo. The light wire is capped in the electrical box of the fan. I'm assuming I'd have to swap the connector/plug assembly of the old QTR110 with the one that comes with the QTR110L.
I notice from the spec's that the housings are the same dimensions, but the 110L grille is slightly smaller.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTR110 exhaust fan. The only parts we can suggest or recommend for the QTR110 are the original replacement parts. If you need a unit with a light, you would need to replace the QTR110 with another model. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.
