Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broan 61W 15 The switch works; but ticks loudly. Also the white on the faceplate is more of an almondish white on the unit i received. It worked great until i turned it the wrong direction one morning; now it no longer turns or ticks but can be "forced on" manually.

  • why is my switch getting stuck "on"

The 15 minute timer swtch is not going all the way off. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Kind of a safety issue since we're not sure if it is going to be still running hours later. Please tell me is this defective and will simply replacing it with a new one solve the problem? We are turning it "past this" where it says to turn it.

    Use with Broan 655

Can this switch be used to control the heater on a broan 655 light/fan/heater unit? I have a double-gang box with two switches, one for the light and one for the fan. Then I have a separate single-gang box with a thermostat in it to control the heater. I would like to replace the old thermostat control with the 61W so that the heater is on a timer instead of on a thermostat.
