For the size and removal rate of fumes and smoke this is a great product. Very quiet in our kitchen on the lower speeds where most of our use is. I would recommend this hood for any semi-skilled installer ( as I am). the Stainless Steel exterior is a plus . easy to clean.

This hood runs very quiet compared to other hoods we have owned. I like that in low speed it takes care of most of heat and smoke while cooking. The automatic feature of increasing in speed to remove high heat and steam, then returning to lower speeds is great.
Also plenty of light while cooking.
oh, and it looks nice too.

Our previous range hood was old and very noisy. We wanted on a new one that wouldn't scare a cat every time we turned it on. This one is perfect. The fan is especially quiet on settings 1 and 2. On #3 it's louder, I hardly ever use it on 3, but then it needs to use more power to get out the smoke if I'm burning dinner. However, the best thing about this range hood is the 3 light settings. I normally use the 2nd one when cooking but the #1 setting is perfect for evenings when I don't want the kitchen completely darkened. I would recommend Broan Range Hoods to anyone who asks which brand I have.

Have used several under cabinet vent/ fan units; this is by far the best one we have had from ease of installation to the various features. Especially like the lighting choices. When I clean the oven and run the fan to handle the smell, it automatically moves up to high as the oven gets very hot in order to keep the area from over heating.

This was a replacement for an old vent hood, so everything was already in place. just had to rip out the old and install the new. This model had several options for adapting to different mounting/venting methods. High quality, Stainless Steel is easier to clean. The filters on this model can even go in the dishwasher. The fans are so quiet, quiet power is a sign of quality. Controls and sleek styling make this a beautiful and functional upgrade. Only downside is the halogen lamps produce too much heat, like a sun lamp.
