  • How do I replace the fan motor without going into the attic

    Asked by: Ken
Thank you for your question on the model 674 exhaust fan. You can remove the grille by pulling straight down. The grille should come down approximately two inches. You would then reach around the grille and squeeze the springs together to remove from the unit housing. The motor mounting bracket will come out of the unit housing from the bathroom side. The motor just plugs in, so you would not have to do any electrical wiring. If you need further assistance, please contact our Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453.
