Can I use the existing housing and just swap out the fan, light and lens? Thank you.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 678 exhaust fan/light. To install the grille on the 678, you need to place the reflector inside the grille and place both pieces against the ceiling at the same time. There is a stud on the motor mounting bracket that will come down through the hole in the top of the reflector. You would place a nut on the stud to hold the grille and reflector assembly tight against the ceiling. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

The room has 77 sq.ft. with an 8ft ceiling...I read that with those dimensions I should have around 90 CFM . Is it possible to upgrade my 678F to increase the CFM, or do I have to replace it with a larger capacity unit?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question. In order to increase the CFM from what you currently have installed, you will need to change the entire unit, including the housing. There is no retro-fit where you can use what you have now.
