Rated 4 out of 5 by Curdio Inexpensive and easy to replace busted vent fan
Was very easy to remove old one and put in new one. Literally plug and play. Interesting buying the whole unit was cheaper than just buying the replacement motor which I would have preferred since I did not need to replace the box and grille.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marko Needed to replace existing fan and this model fit perfectly, is more quiet and was reasonably priced. What more do you need?
Easy to install, quiet and a great price. Good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by exhaustfan great price, clever design
Great fan, maybe, if there is a deluxe model, it could be quieter, but its not too loud

Rated 5 out of 5 by ratronic Much less expensive than fan motor alone
If anybody ever needs a replacement fan motor for one of these just order the whole product it is much cheaper than the fan motor ordered by itself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sunup existing fan replacement
We installed this replacement fan in 3/4 bath. The fan is strong and clears shower dampness very efficiently. But it is loud. If the instructions for replacing the fan with a plug were clearer, I would have been able to replace the fan myself rather than hiring someone. Since the existing fan plugged into the ceiling, it was very easy to replace; no wiring or going into crawl space was required. The instructions didn't say how to remove the existing fan (same type). Since we were replacing an existing fan of the same type, I wish I could have purchased this model without the housing; I just had to throw out the brand new housing; a waste of money and materials. Overall I would recommend this fan for a replacement; this one fit into our existing fixture perfectly. If you are installing a new one without an existing opening, then I would suggest you look for a model which is quieter. Our old one lasted 22 years; I assume this model will be as reliable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Managree Jet engine is quieter
I HATE this fan. It's a cheap, noisy fan that has higher decibels than a jet engine. I didn't buy one by choice; rather, the contractor who built my house put them in, and I hate them - so much that I'm considering an expensive retrofit to replace them with Panasonics, which rock - very very quiet and better performing.
